Executive Director, Payments Sales for broker dealers and market structure in North America, focused on developing relationships, building a pipeline, and delivering integrated treasury and payments solutions.
Location: New York, NY (onsite). Salary: USD 130,000 - 195,000 per year. Minimum experience: 10 years.
Responsibilities
- Lead revenue generation across the full Payments portfolio, including treasury services such as cash management, liquidity management, and FX solutions.
- Implement the Payments sales and client strategy to hit new business targets, preserve existing revenue streams, grow market share, and deepen client wallet share.
- Partner with domestic and international coverage and product teams to identify opportunities for sophisticated treasury and payments solutions; coordinate with client service, compliance, operations, technology, risk, credit, and legal to optimize delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date visibility into client relationships, including revenue and balance levels, credit exposure, and KYC compliance.
- Perform thorough client analyses to uncover strategic opportunities and tailor JPMorganβs payments offerings to address client needs.
- Lead documentation for pricing updates, RFPs, client events, and other ad hoc proposals through to finalization.
- Drive a comprehensive selling strategy with Product and Banking coverage, delivering value and building a robust pipeline of new deals.
- Develop deep market and client insight to position JPM solutions effectively, understanding industry, organization, buying processes, and business objectives.
- Engage senior client leaders to deliver integrated treasury solutions in a consultative, client-focused manner; frame strategic dialogues with benchmarking, opportunity assessment, and solution positioning.
- Oversee the full sales lifecycle, including end-to-end implementation and ongoing operations of client solutions.
- Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute client events that strengthen JPMorgan Chaseβs franchise.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience selling cash and liquidity management products with deep product knowledge.
- Self-starter with initiative, strong teamwork, ownership mindset, and a proven track record of meeting sales goals.
- Expertise across cash, foreign exchange, liquidity, and information management products.
- Familiar with innovative treasury and payments technologies, plus an understanding of credit risk processes and digital asset compliance nuances.
- Proven ability to collaborate with global internal teams and external clients.
- Demonstrated capacity to identify upsell opportunities, close new business, and support design, sale, and delivery of value-added services.
- Skilled at prospecting and engaging key decision makers.
- Strong account planning capabilities and demonstrated execution.
- Solid understanding of broker-dealer, market maker, and exchange/clearinghouse industries, their business needs, and potential solutions.
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance environments with solid AML/KYC risk and control experience.
