The Senior Partner Sales Manager will drive AWS revenue growth by guiding strategic partner relationships (GSI/SI and ISV) and co-selling with technology partners. This on-site role in Raleigh, NC focuses on developing territory and account plans and expanding AWS adoption across industries, with a particular emphasis on the ECOM sub-vertical within Retail and CPG.
Responsibilities
- Grow revenue and market presence in a defined ECOM territory by coordinating multiple account teams and partners, including a set of strategic consulting partners, with defined revenue and win targets.
- Achieve quarterly revenue targets by enabling GSI/SI and ISV partners to originate and collaborate with AWS sales teams to close opportunities that drive AWS revenue.
- Develop deep, long-term relationships with customers and strategic partners in your territory to understand their business, solutions, and technical needs.
- Create and execute an integrated account/territory plan that supports multiple account teams and assigned partners to reach revenue and win goals.
- Deliver the plan in collaboration with internal stakeholders including account teams, specialist sales, services, BD, partner marketing, and partner development resources.
- Foster enduring strategic relationships with key GSI/SI and ISV partners.
- Craft and communicate compelling value propositions around AWS services tailored to the ECOM sub-vertical within Retail and CPG for customers and partners.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to sustain business growth.
- Collaborate with partners to extend reach and accelerate AWS adoption.
- Support consulting partners as they develop solutions through formal AWS APN programs, in partnership with GSI/SI PDMs and other resources.
- Ensure customer and partner satisfaction across engagements.
- Provide technical and architectural resources to assist partners in customer engagements and solution delivery, including ISV partnerships.
- Lead business development initiatives in your territory with Partner Development, marketing, and GTMS teams to drive opportunities to AWS-based solutions and position AWS as the preferred platform.
- Manage contract negotiations and AWS funding programs.
Requirements
- 7+ years of technology related sales, business development, or equivalent experience.
- Experience collaborating with partners through account, product, or program management and business development engagements.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
- Experience with Data & AI technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage.
