Agency Sales Manager
Job Description
Agency Sales Manager position based in Waco, TX onsite, responsible for leading and growing the agency's sales operations across personal lines, commercial lines, and surety bonds.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement go-to-market plans to grow revenue across home, auto, business insurance, and bond products
- Set sales targets, track performance, and report results to agency leadership
- Identify new market opportunities and establish carrier partnerships to broaden offerings
- Promote cross-selling and upselling across all product lines
- Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets
- Develop and sustain strong, long-term client relationships
- Ensure client needs are assessed and matched with appropriate coverage
- Uphold high standards for customer service, retention, and timely follow-up
- Support policy renewals and retention efforts
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and carrier guidelines in all sales activities
- Accurately document client information, quotes, and policy details in the agency management system
- Collaborate with service staff to ensure smooth policy binding and renewals
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and CRM reporting
Requirements
- General Lines Property & Casualty Agent license
- 3–5+ years of insurance sales experience, preferably within an independent agency
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a sales team
- Strong knowledge of personal lines, commercial lines, and/or bond products
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

Pay
Salary: $67,182.72 - $119,000.00 per year
