Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a Senior Staffer in Business Development to shape and drive growth for the ELTS ATS portfolio within RMS TLS. Based in Arlington, Virginia with a hybrid work arrangement, this role blends strategic leadership with hands-on market engagement, spanning domestic and international opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of three years in defense acquisitions and five to ten years of experience with Automatic Test Systems to steer campaigns, partnerships, and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute the business strategy for ATS product lines, including eCASS – electronic Consolidated Automated Support System
- Formulate and execute the business strategy for ATS product lines, including LM-CORE™
- Formulate and execute the business strategy for ATS product lines, including LM-STAR®
- Formulate and execute the business strategy for ATS product lines, including Portable Testers
- Identify new growth opportunities
- Manage the opportunity pipeline
- Foster deep customer engagement domestically and internationally
- Drive growth in a highly competitive environment
- Collaborate closely with Naval Air Systems Command (PMA 260), the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) ATS Division, the Joint Program Office for the Joint Strike Fighter, and multiple Lockheed Martin Business Units
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in defense acquisitions (industry or customer side)
- 5–10 years of experience with Automatic Test Systems (ATS)
- Proven track record in business development activities including opportunity qualification, proposal development, campaign execution, and strategic planning
- Experience with competitive source selection processes (industry or government)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Advanced critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel worldwide
- Strong customer relationship skills and ability to interpret international customer requirements
- Solid understanding of DoD budgeting and acquisition processes
- Team player who can organize and motivate a diverse group toward common objectives

Work schedules
Lockheed Martin supports a range of alternate schedules. The proposed schedule for this role is a 4x10 hour day pattern, with three days off per week. Additional flexibility is available in other schedules.
Salary
Annual base salary: $128,400 to $226,435. Location-based variations may apply, and final compensation will reflect location and other factors.
