ISP/OSP Business Development Manager

Hylan invites applicants for an on-site ISP/OSP Business Development Manager in Sterling, VA. The role offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $100,000 to $150,000, a comprehensive benefits package, and the chance to shape regional growth across utility, telecom, renewable energy, solar, EV charging infrastructure, and municipal projects. You will coordinate proposals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored infrastructure solutions.

What you will do

• Lead business development and account management within the construction infrastructure sector.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities across utility, telecom, renewable energy, infrastructure, solar, EV charging infrastructure, and municipal sectors.
• Build and sustain positive, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Assess client needs and respond with customized infrastructure solutions.
• Monitor competitor strategies, pricing, strengths, and weaknesses to preserve a competitive edge.
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute Hylan’s sales plan.
• Prepare proposals and coordinate contracts with Project Managers and Estimating Teams.
• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities in CRM and provide accurate weekly forecasts and reports.
• Partner with the Chief Commercial Officer and marketing to align sales strategies with brand messaging.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree required with at least 5 years in construction/infrastructure sales.
• Experience selling in ISP/OSP, telecommunication, utility, renewable energy, solar, and EV charging infrastructure construction is required.
• Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and develop lasting customer relationships.
