Aerospace Sales Manager

The Aerospace Sales Manager role in Valencia, CA handles customer requests for aerospace service products, analyzes and resolves concerns using established procedures, and coordinates service resources.

Responsibilities

• Review customer service requests to determine the cause, type of malfunction, and the customer address.
• Calculate required staff hours, personnel levels, and parts and equipment for each service call.
• Create schedules for service personnel and assign staff to routes or specific repair and maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate transportation of machinery to the customer site for installation or to the shop for on premises repairs.
• Maintain records of work hours, parts used, and services performed for every service call.
• Request replacement parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate with service personnel by radio or phone to relay information and directions for service or installation activities.
• Enter data and maintain a database containing engineering and customer part numbers.
• Create and maintain bills of materials for items produced.
• Coordinate input and data from multiple sources as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics.
• Ability to interact with a team of coworkers.
• Customer contact skills.
• Computer literate.
• Able to read and comprehend documentation written in English.
• Written communication skills.
