Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager (Engineering) directs territory sales targets and expands product knowledge through presentations, seminars, and regular face-to-face activities. This onsite role is based in Buford, Georgia, and requires a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product training and seminars for clients, including mechanical engineers, mechanical contractors, and building owners, at our headquarters or at the customer site.
  • Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to internal management in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers through regular in-person sales calls.
  • Deliver technical and product support to customers and sales managers, identifying and resolving challenges.
  • Schedule sales calls to meet territory targets and raise brand awareness.
  • Perform system analyses, interpret data, and provide written recommendations to ensure customer operations run optimally.
  • Manage unit selections, organize bid documents, and ensure the accuracy of bid costing.
  • Recommend continuous improvements and innovations to sustain and grow market leadership.

Requirements

  • Mechanical engineering experience
  • Proven track record in outside sales, business development, or account management
  • Outgoing and positive personality
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to drive revenue growth
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation abilities
  • Willingness to travel at least 50%
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Knowledge of technology sales and understanding of technical products and services
