Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager (Engineering) directs territory sales targets and expands product knowledge through presentations, seminars, and regular face-to-face activities. This onsite role is based in Buford, Georgia, and requires a bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Lead product training and seminars for clients, including mechanical engineers, mechanical contractors, and building owners, at our headquarters or at the customer site.
- Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to internal management in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers through regular in-person sales calls.
- Deliver technical and product support to customers and sales managers, identifying and resolving challenges.
- Schedule sales calls to meet territory targets and raise brand awareness.
- Perform system analyses, interpret data, and provide written recommendations to ensure customer operations run optimally.
- Manage unit selections, organize bid documents, and ensure the accuracy of bid costing.
- Recommend continuous improvements and innovations to sustain and grow market leadership.
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering experience
- Proven track record in outside sales, business development, or account management
- Outgoing and positive personality
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to drive revenue growth
- Exceptional public speaking and presentation abilities
- Willingness to travel at least 50%
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Knowledge of technology sales and understanding of technical products and services
