Job Description

On-site leadership opportunity in Santa Ana, CA to shape regional sales strategy, budgeting, and customer experience across Southwest California. You will supervise the sales team, coordinate with distributors and service, and partner with executive leadership to drive revenue growth. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on leadership in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervisory responsibility for Sales Team members within the regional territory.
  • Work with the Management team to establish, direct and oversee regional sales objectives and initiatives.
  • Set sales targets and implement corporate sales strategies to achieve them.
  • Responsible for achieving regional sales budgets established.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Management team to establish and oversee regional marketing budgets and their utilization.
  • Meet regional sales objectives and forecasting requirements by aiding in annual target preparation, analyzing quarterly results against budget, and recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop regional strategies with senior management to improve the overall customer experience, including services provided by the company.
  • Coordinate Territory Sales Representatives and Distributors within the region to ensure targets are met and commercial strategies are implemented per corporate guidelines.
  • Develop and lead activities to ensure market coverage by expanding distribution networks or expanding the commercial team.
  • Lead regional strategic corporate objectives through recruiting for both commercial and service positions.
  • Oversee training, scheduling, coaching, and counseling of the commercial team; set expectations; plan and evaluate performance; and uphold corporate policies.
  • Utilize corporate CRM and partner with the Sales Intelligence team to improve sales efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance of the direct sales and distribution teams.
  • Collaborate with the Service Management Team to develop and execute plans to increase regional service revenues through optimal use of service resources.
  • Lead and coordinate with Territory Sales Representatives, Distributors, and Management in customer conflict resolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in the secondary woodworking industry, preferably with CNC machines.
  • Parallel experience in related sectors such as hardware, wood supply, tooling, or software is acceptable.
  • Ability to travel up to 75 percent, both domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Knowledge and understanding of woodworking processes and applications.
  • Experience with customer relationship management tools, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to build trust and develop relationships with stakeholders ranging from small business owners to senior leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills for working with customers, management, and peers.
