Catering Sales Manager

The Catering Sales Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Annapolis leads revenue generation by soliciting and booking corporate and social events, guiding clients from inquiry through execution. Onsite in Annapolis, you’ll coordinate with banquet and culinary teams to deliver exceptional service and flawless events, while managing the full client lifecycle. This role blends sales, event coordination, and relationship management to drive profitability in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Revenue: Generate leads, meet personal booking targets, and drive profit.
• Client Relations: Conduct site tours, answer inquiries, and build lasting client relationships.
• Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, menus, and terms to close contracts.
• Event Coordination: Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for all events.
• Operations: Collaborate with culinary and banquet teams to ensure flawless execution.
• Forecasting: Maintain accurate CRM records, manage budgets, and provide revenue reports.

Requirements

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in hotel sales, catering, or event management.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or Business is preferred.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
• Organization: High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Software: Proficiency in catering and sales software.
• Flexibility: Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
