Based in Boston on site, this Senior Partner Sales Manager role with Amazon Web Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 142,800 to 193,200 per year. The position centers on building C level relationships with strategic partners to drive AWS revenue and market adoption in the ECOM, Retail and CPG space, with co selling alongside ISV partners. You will develop account and territory plans, lead revenue initiatives, and collaborate with internal teams to accelerate AWS adoption. Responsibilities
- Own revenue growth and market share in the defined ECOM territory, coordinating with multiple account teams and partners or a curated set of strategic consulting partners to meet revenue and win targets
- Consistently hit or exceed quarterly revenue targets by enabling GSI/SI and ISV partners to collaborate with AWS sales teams to originate and close opportunities that boost AWS revenue
- Build deep, trust-based relationships with customers and key partners to understand their business, solutions, and technical needs
- Develop and execute a comprehensive account and territory plan that supports multiple account teams or designated partners to achieve revenue and win goals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as account teams, specialist sales, services, BD, partner marketing and partner development resources to implement the plan
- Foster long-term strategic relationships with major GSI/SI and ISV partners
- Craft and present compelling value propositions for AWS services tailored to the ECOM sub industry within Retail and CPG
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and forecast
- Work with partners to extend reach and accelerate AWS adoption
- Support consulting partners as they develop solutions through formal AWS APN programs in collaboration with GSI/SI PDMs and other resources
- Ensure high levels of customer and partner satisfaction
- Provide technical and architectural resources to assist partners in customer engagements and their market delivery, including ISV partnerships
- Drive business development initiatives in the territory with Partner Development, marketing and GTMS teams to move opportunities toward AWS built solutions and establish AWS as the preferred platform
- Manage contract negotiations and AWS funding programs
Requirements
- 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
