Job Description

This full-time Sales and Business Development Representative role in the Merchant Cash Advance sector is based onsite in Islandia, NY, offering a base salary plus uncapped commissions and bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify prospects, assess funding needs, and match clients with suitable funding options.
  • Gather and submit required documents, collaborating with a team of peers.
  • Present and cultivate relationships with leads to convert merchants into ongoing clients.
  • Make 250 plus outbound calls per day using a dialing system.
  • Educate business owners on the benefits of merchant cash advances and alternative funding solutions.

Requirements

  • Sales experience; MCA or lending industry experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, stay self-motivated, and proactively drive activities.
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain resilient.
  • Comfort with high-volume cold calling and lead generation.
  • Experience with Gmail, dialing software, and CRMs is helpful.
  • Team player with an organized and thorough approach.
  • Open to feedback and able to apply guidance.
