Job Description

The Business Development Manager role focuses on building key customer relationships and driving growth in the Permian and Delaware Basins by directing sales initiatives, coaching Account Managers, and aligning product value with client needs.

Job Overview

The Business Development Manager supports the organization in reaching its overall financial goals in the Permian/Delaware Basin. In this highly visible role, the position seeks to deliver profitability and growth in line with the company vision and values.

Responsibilities

Maintain and grow the existing customer base by fostering long-term relationships.
Monitor personal sales metrics and communications, submitting results to the Director of Sales during period reviews.
Expand the customer base by meeting with prospective clients and informing them of the advantages of Well Master products and services.
Assist the Director of Global Business Development and management on sales initiatives and fill gaps as needed.
Drive growth in new and early-stage markets.
Respond to requests for proposals and process orders.
Travel regularly to visit current and potential customers.
Conduct proactive goodwill calls with customers.
Interpret and manage customer requirements.
Qualify needs and design solutions that deliver value to end users.
Develop and implement strategic action plans, especially for new markets and ventures.
Prepare quotations for the West Texas sales team.
Negotiate tender and contract terms and close sales on approved terms.
Resolve customer conflicts effectively and professionally.
Prepare the organization for large scale projects and provide after-sales support as needed.
Administer accounts and analyze costs and sales data.
Prepare reports for the head office and meet or exceed sales targets.
Maintain accurate customer contact data and participate in marketing events such as trade shows and conferences.
Deliver technical presentations and demonstrate how products meet customer needs.
Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
Collaborate with other members of the sales team and technical experts to solve customer problems.
Assist in designing custom products and solutions and produce required training and support materials.
Participate in ongoing education to learn about new products and improved sales techniques.
Utilize Customer Relationship Management tools to track progress with customers.

Requirements

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and follow-up.
Strong listening skills and effective note-taking abilities.
Advanced computer skills and highly organized efficiency.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and maintain professionalism.
Willingness to travel to customers daily and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Professional presentation skills for audiences of one to twenty.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Strong analytical capabilities and conflict resolution skills.
Positive attitude and solid business acumen to convey value propositions.
Minimum of 3 years of experience.
Four-year undergraduate degree preferred but not required.

Compensation

Base salary ranges from USD 65,000 to USD 95,000 annually. Eligible for commission and bonus pay. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Execute the U S sales strategy in the oil production sector to meet targets and drive long term growth.
Perform market research to identify key customers, projects, and opportunities in the Permian Basin and other regions.
Develop unique selling propositions and project execution strategies.
Lead lead generation, prospecting, and cold outreach; deliver compelling presentations; convert prospects into lasting partnerships.
Represent Triol solutions at trade shows, conferences, seminars, and other industry events nationwide.
Provide technical input and tailor solutions, even when standard policies do not cover the scenario.
Oversee critical project stages from order placement through product approval and on-site implementation.
Manage orders from existing customers and assist onboarding of new accounts.
Maintain consistent business correspondence with current, new, and potential customers through all stages of development and production until delivery.
Negotiate contract terms, ensure fulfillment, and close deals successfully.
Travel to customer facilities to gain firsthand operational insights and tailor solutions for current and future needs.
Collect customer feedback on product and service requirements, address issues, and preserve strong relationships.
Stay informed about product policy updates and clearly communicate changes to customers.
Actively promote company solutions and represent the brand at exhibitions, conferences, seminars, webinars, and related events.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of the U S market with personal contacts in companies serving low voltage equipment, submersible equipment, and power electronics.
Minimum 4 years of sales or business development experience in oilfield equipment, artificial lift, or power electronics.
Proven track record negotiating with senior executives and decision-makers.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Ability to travel internationally to Europe and Canada as needed.
Higher technical education in engineering or a related field is preferred.
Language: English, C1 or higher.
Education note: Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Experience note: 4 years in business development and 4 years in automation systems and drives are required.
