Base compensation ranges from $140,000 to $160,000 per year. This role is a hybrid position in Burnsville, MN with up to 50% travel, offering the flexibility of remote work alongside onsite collaboration. You will lead regional teams focused on generating demand, expanding project opportunities, and strengthening strategic relationships around Electro-Voice Dynacord solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead two regional business development teams with complementary focuses and operating models to drive growth.
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers and Sales District Managers to engage end users, consultants, and A&E firms early in the sales cycle, influencing specifications and expanding adoption of Electro-Voice Dynacord solutions.
- Elevate product awareness and technical proficiency across the sales organization.
- Oversee a seasoned team with established relationships among consultants, end users, the construction ecosystem, and strategic partners.
- Identify whitespace opportunities and generate net-new business directly with end customers by building and developing a growth-oriented team.
- Develop and execute regional or vertical market strategies and action plans that influence specification and purchase decisions for Electro-Voice Dynacord solutions.
- Identify, qualify, and cultivate target clients based on potential and industry influence; manage project leads within assigned regions and focus verticals.
- Spot emerging opportunities and maximize market potential; participate in industry events and support public relations activities.
- Build relationships with specifiers, influencers, and decision-makers across assigned industry segments; tailor technical and commercial solutions while maintaining consistent follow-up.
- Gather market insights, customer feedback, and product requirements to inform internal stakeholders; ensure client interactions align with business objectives and standards.
- Support the sales process from initial relationship development through needs analysis, strategic account planning, product demonstrations, solution specification, proposal development, and project close.
- Coordinate internal and external resources including SDMs, KAMs, Product Management, and partners to advance and close opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to support bids, installations, and strategic partner engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred in a technical field, marketing, management, or related discipline; Associate's degree highly desired.
- Minimum of three years of experience with professional audio products in a customer-facing role, preferably at the manufacturer level.
- Five or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Industry affiliations and certifications are strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; strong presentation and customer engagement abilities.
- Self-motivated with exceptional organizational, follow-up, and integrative skills.
- Working knowledge of the design and installation of IP/IT products, professional audio, or communications solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions; appropriately assertive and diplomatic with the ability to influence.
- Ability to establish trust, credibility, and lasting professional relationships; dependable in actions and communication.
- Resourceful, action-oriented, and persistent in overcoming challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work onsite in Burnsville, MN; hybrid schedule requires a minimum of three days per week onsite, subject to business needs.
- Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a computer, with visual acuity to read screens and documents; clear communication in person and digitally.
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity in a typical office environment with standard noise levels and ergonomic equipment.

Additional information
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time role is $140,000-160,000 annually. Individual pay is determined by factors such as work experience, job knowledge, complexity of the role, and location.
